Trunk or Treat

Our school had a Trunk or Treat Halloween party this morning.  Daddy took the morning off to come with us.  We were so excited to put our costumes on again and go trick or treating.

It wasn't a very warm and even kind of rainy but we didn't mind.

We totally have the hang of trick or treating.  Even Claire marches right up to get her treat.

and works very hard to get it in her bag!

Emmerson and one of her friends from school.

Notice Claire is still digging in the treats!

100 acres

It was a beautiful fall day today and fall break for our friend Marin.  So it was the perfect day to visit 100 Acres.  It is an outdoor exhibit at the Indianapolis Art Museum.  We love it.  There is so much  room to run and play.

Three sweet girls on swings!
This was our favorite today.  It is a huge tree that they made in to a swing set.

We found plenty to climb on too!

Gymnastics

Emmerson started a new gymnastics class.  She LOVES it.  All of it!  Wearing a leotard, seeing her friends, and using all the equipment.  She told me the other day, "my legs can't do the splits yet but my fingers can."  Guess that is a start!

Here are a few pictures from the balance beam she got to walk on the BIG one and loved it.

Practicing on the little one.

Learning how to get on it without falling.

Yep, she goes along for the ride...though she wishes she was out doing gymnastics with her sister.  Soon enough I am sure!

Zoo Boo

The Indianapolis Zoo has an event called Zoo Boo.  The whole zoo is decorated for Halloween and you can go trick or treating.  It was a beautiful day so we dressed up and went!

Our doctor and giraffe.

They were so excited to have their costumes on.

On the way we noticed Jack and his family were in the car behind us!  Emmerson was SO excited!

Just a fireman and a doctor looking for people to help!

Looking for her giraffe friends! (and what is in her bag)

For me?  she caught on real quick and LOVED it!

We had a tired little giraffe.

She came back to life once she remembered what was in her little bag.

Fall Fun

We helped Daddy rake leafs this weekend.  We had so much fun.  We kept asking Daddy to rake more piles so we could jump in them!

Emmerson finally got to put her own rake to good use!

Claire picked up the leafs one by one.  She didn't want her hands to get to dirty.

All the hard work paid off...time to jump!

We took two tired girls in for lunch after this morning!

Our Library

Emmerson and Anna made a library at our house.  It was SO fun to watch.  They set up boxes as the check out counter.  They would take turns (or make Claire) check out books.  They would try to talk each other into the books they had and then send them on their way after putting the book in a bag for them.  The best part was when they would yell, "the library is closing...HURRY your book is going to be late!"  Everyone was expected to RUN to the counter.

Anna and Owen

Here are a couple pictures of us and our buddies Anna and Owen.

Owen is two months older than Claire and Anna is six months older than Emmerson.  We have so much fun with them.

As I walked through the mall with this group (alone) I was stopped by a few people commenting on how I had my hands full.  I didn't think much of it until one lady said, "WOW two sets of twins".  Then I realized why everyone was staring...it wasn't due to how cute my company was!

19 months old

Our "little" as we call her is getting big.  She still refers to herself as Baby, but I am afraid she isn't one anymore.  She is still the sweetest little thing ever!

Walking home from school.

Eating her favorite snack, in her favorite spot.

She makes herself comfortable where ever she is.  She is SO laid back...

Silly girl!

The girl would live off noodles if we let her.

Sweet Delaney

Our friend Delaney was in town from Phoenix this weekend.  Her Grandparents live across the street from Nana and Pop Pop so her Daddy grew up with our Mommy.  We get to she her when she visits Indiana.  This time they came to Indianapolis.  Though this is the only proof...we got to play with her a lot this weekend.  She played at our house and went to the Children's museum.

Hope to see you again soon Delaney!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch this weekend.  It was a perfect fall day.  Emmerson was so excited to find the perfect pumpkin!

These pumpkins were HUGE!

Much taller this year!

Our little animals.

They love feeding the animals.

The hayride was so fun!

The "wow" face!

Showing off their perfect pumpkins!
