Art Camp

Emmerson went to Art Camp last Friday and to say she loved it would be an understatement!  It was an Owl theme and she painted a few pictures.

Here is her favorite.

Her friend Anna went with her.

Father's Day

We celebrated Father's Day a day early due to Daddy having to leave to travel for work.  These girls are so lucky to have such a great and involved Dad!  He loves being their dad and the they adore him!

We always let the girls decide what to get us for holidays.  This year Emmerson wanted to get Daddy a new IU coffee mug...and Claire wanted to get him a "boy tank top".  SO...I helped Daddy out a bit.  I figured if you were going to open a mug and tank top for Father's day you deserve a day doing one of your favorite things.  So I encouraged the girls to take him to Bloomington to shop for the mug and that maybe we could find a "boy tank top" there.  Of course it was a surprise for about 3 seconds but he was happy to spend the day on campus with these 3 girls!

We always take a long walk on campus when we get there.  The girls love running around and seeing all our favorite spots.  Daddy is always quick to show them where he lived!

The girls love walking on the stone walls.  They act like they are balance beams.

A proud Daddy with 3 very happy girls!

Next stop is always dinner at Nick's.

Then we went shopping for Daddy's gifts.  The mug was an easy find.  Sadly, (for some) we didn't find a boy tank top!

We never leave campus without a quick stop at The Wells House where Daddy asked Mommy to marry him.  The girls have been there enough that they know the story and always ask to hear  the whole story again!

They also like to sit in the spot we were sitting when he proposed...and maybe even make him get on one knee each and every time!

Sunday morning we had time for a big breakfast and few more gifts that they thought he needed.  A new book and animal crackers!

Of course they made him read it to them right away.

9 months old

Our baby girl is 9 months old!  We wish we could stop time!  She is the happiest little girl we have ever been around.  She is such a flexible and easy baby.  She is still taking two naps a day and sleeping 12 hours at night.  She is still eating baby food at dinner time without any complaints.  She has 6 teeth .  She loves her sisters, dog, mom and dad (in that order), toys, swinging, being outside, her jumper, swimming, and looking at books.  She can clap and wave and does both all the time.  She is saying a few words- mama, dada, dog, and bye bye.  Her little voice couldn't be sweeter.  She is scooting everywhere when she gets the chance.  She still only goes backwards and in circles.  We are worried our days are numbered before she really takes off and the chaos of chasing her begins!

9 months old today!

Everything goes right to her mouth.

She loves the music table just like her big sisters did.

We still can't believe how sweet a sleeping baby is.

She is still always on the go.  Thankfully she doesn't mind!

Poor third baby has holes in her jammies...

This is what a sick baby looks like!  Still sweet though!

We have been doing a lot more of this, while she will still let us.

Here is some clapping for you.

SUMMER has arrived!

Another school year is over!  We feel lucky that our girls love school.  Fairview has been a great fit for us.

Emmerson's last day of preschool.  She has loved her 3 years at Fairview.  She is very excited about going to kindergarten but she has mentioned a few times she knows Claire, Audrey and Mom will miss her...she is correct!

Claire's last day of the 2/3's.  She will be moving up to preschool next year.

Sweet sisters on their last day sharing a school for a couple years!

Ms. Sara, Claire's teacher

Ms. Jeni, Emmerson's teacher (for the last 3 years)

After school we celebrated the start of summer by visiting a park

and going on an ice cream date with Jack and Carter!

May Fun

We had another month full of fun around here.  As busy as we keep a lot of the time it is just playing at home!

The girls have been using their new picnic table a lot.  We love to eat outside.

Claire found a new hiding place!

We love playing at Anna and Owen's house.

On the Butler trails

The Butler students are gone so we have campus to ourselves! (not that the students slow these two down)

At Holcomb gardens

This little one LOVES to swing!

We have had a few ice cream dates already.

This one is starting to look so BIG.

Emmerson, Claire, Anna and Owen had a lemonade and cookie stand.  Emme made the cookies.

Claire's class had a special breakfast for the Moms.  She was excited about it.

Daddy introduced the girls to Dilly Bars.  They love them.  Claire calls them Milly bars and makes a HUGE mess.

The girls like to be mermaids in the tub.  The good news is Emmerson can get water in her ear again!

Neil and I talk about these "moment" we have.  It is hard to explain but we have them often.  When it hits you that these little ladies are ours, we are parents, there are three of them, etc.  Here are a few of my "moments" from this month.

Good morning!  All eyes on me...ALL. THE. TIME!

I looked up while at the doctor and saw this!

And this one...she can tear that paper up in seconds, literally seconds.
