January fun!

January flew by since we were in Florida for the first couple weeks of it.  We are usually home a lot during the winter so we just play and keep busy.

These two are best buddies!

Bella is a good sport.  Audrey climbs on her, hugs her and kisses her.  She just lays still and takes it.  If Audrey doesn't know where she is she wanders around the house yelling, "Belba" until she finds her.

These two are best buddies too!  What ever Claire does Audrey soon follows!  We are in trouble!

Not sure when she got this BIG!

Audrey and I have been going to a music class at the library.  She loves it!

Claire's class invited the parents to a winter breakfast.

They even ice skated for us.

This sweet girl was exhausted the other night by bedtime (her double ear infection didn't help).  Daddy was holding her while I got the tub ready and I came back to find a sleeping baby.  I had to peel her out of his arms!

A snowy Sunday

We have had a very mild winter this year. Which means we have little girls that are dying to play in snow.  So when we got a couple inches we could hardly keep them inside.

This little one felt VERY left out.  I was trying to keep her in until after her nap.

It was pretty pathetic!

The big girls were having so much fun!

So I gave in and bundled her up!

She was not disappointed in her first true experience of playing in the snow.

Daddy has a full sled now!

She needed a hand to move at all!

When no one would help her she would just stand in one place and smile!

Daddy has another playmate!

Hot chocolate helps bribe them back inside.

Snow is the only good part of an Indiana winter!  (and it doesn't hurt that a bundled up baby is pretty cute)

100th day of kindergarten

Emmerson has been in kindergarten 100 days!  For the celebration they were told to dress like they were 100 years old.

We asked Nana to help with putting the outfit together.  Emmerson was VERY pleased with her work!

We think she will be a very cute old lady in 95 years!

Daddy daycare

I had my first weekend away since becoming a mom.... In October it started as a conversation about how I had been pregnant or breastfeeding all but 7 months since July 0f 2008.  Neil said I deserved a night out!  I decided I deserved a few nights out...in fact, out of state!  He agreed so I went to spend some time with my brother.  The girls were sad that I was going to see Uncle Matt with out them and Emmerson was a little worried about Daddy being on his own!

In the end they had a great time and according to Emmerson, I was hardly missed... until bedtime.  Daddy did lots of fun stuff with them.

Movie night!

Easy Bake Oven treats.

Time at the park.

And a sleepover!

I had a great time with Matt!  We had lots of time just the two of us to enjoy adult meals out, hikes in awesome weather, and just catching up without interruptions at his new house.

I also got to spend time with my two favorite little boys!  I went to football games, basketball games, played more basketball and football in the backyard than anyone would believe and spent plenty of time jumping on a trampoline!

It was a great weekend that I feel like should become a yearly tradition!

Florida or BUST!

As we pulled out of our driveway on Christmas Day for 17 nights away from home with a 1, 3, and 5 year old we hoped we weren't crazy!  Turns out we weren't!  We had an awesome vacation!  Perfect weather and tons of family fun!

We stopped at a hotel on the way down.  We had Christmas dinner and went for a quick swim before bed.

Traveling went fairly smooth all things considered.  Low point was this one puking everywhere about 2 hours into the trip and the fear that she had the flu!

I looked over in the hotel and this is how Neil was sleeping.

All that really matters is that we made it!  Everyone was happy we did!

Florida round 1

Time in Florida makes us happy!  Very simply put, we love sun, water and time together so there is no better place.

Crazy baby!

Nana's visors are always a huge hit with our girls.

Audrey's hair is always crazy but Florida takes it to a whole new level!

Take 1 for a family picture on a windy evening.

Take 2 on a calm evening

Someone thinks she is pretty big eating up at the bar.

I came out to the family room after taking a shower at 4:00 pm and found this.  Florida is exhausting!

Very happy ladies.

She really likes to dance...and we really like to watch her dance!
