Fun at the park

While we were in Fort Wayne we kept pretty busy.  The swing is always a popular spot.

This one loves it now too!

We spent some time at the neighborhood park.

Pop Pop took Audrey down a slide.

Seemed like a good idea...

 Mom, what is going on?!?

Emmerson can make it all the way across the monkey bars now.

Happy girls!

Audrey got to play too!

Mother's Day

We spent Mother's Day at Nana and Pop Pop's because Daddy had to fly out for a week away for work.  We had such a fun day just being together!  Nana made a big breakfast, Pop Pop got us a yummy lunch, we went to a park, helped plant flowers and just played!

I love nothing more than being these girls Mom!  I hope every mom feels as lucky as I do!

My day was filled with hugs and kisses!  They must have told me Happy Mother's Day a million times!  Such sweet little girls!

They made Mother's Day gifts at school.  They were SO excited about the gifts but wanted me to wait to open them on the real day.

Emmerson made a garden stone with her handprint on it.

Claire painted a flower pot.

And they made about a billion cards and pictures!

Pop Pop's Retirement Party

We went to Pop Pop's retirement party at his school this weekend.

We have spent lots of time at Franke Park so it didn't seem right not to take some pictures in front of the school sign.

Our sweet girls!

We joke that the girls think they own this place and this sums it up...Audrey sitting on Pop Pop's desk while playing with the emergency walkie talkie!

Caty teaches at Pop Pop's school so we got to spend time with her too!

Hopefully this will be the last time these three are in a principals office!

The girls ate lots of yummy food!

Pop Pop gave a thank you speech and opened some gifts.  At the end Claire ran right up (in front of everyone) and gave him a big hug!

Cousin Lauren's visit

Cousin Lauren came to visit!  We talked her into staying all day!

The girls love playing with her.

and cuddling too!

8 months

Our baby girl is 8 months old!  She is still the sweetest little baby!  She is always smiling and giggling!  She doesn't know a stranger and is quick to give anyone that talks to her a big smile (as long as mom or dad are in sight too).   She is still sleeping great and eating good too.  She has taken to baby food very well.  She has had peas, green beans, sweet potato, squash, bananas, apples and pears.  Peas are her least favorite but other than that she doesn't seem to have a preference.  She is sitting up, waving, rolling/scooting everywhere.  She ADORES her sisters!  Loves playing with her toys, being outside, and jumping in the jumparoo.  She has really discovered Bella this month and squeals with delight when she is near.  Of course Bella lets her pull on her and squeeze a little too tight!  She is a very "talkative" little girl (just what we need around here).  She has been saying Mama and Dada for awhile now but we are starting to think there is some meaning behind it!  If you ask Emmerson she can say just about everything.  She is sure every sound she makes is a word.  Her hair keeps getting longer, thicker, and crazier!  Not sure what we would do without this happy little bug!

This girl has some serious bed head when she wakes!

She can reach everything....making things much more difficult.

She loves sitting and playing with her toys.  When you walk in the room you get a big smile!

She isn't crawling yet but she isn't staying in one place either...when you leave the room you never know where you will find her when you return.

She has figured out how to pull each toy out of the bin and throw them.  She is very proud of herself when you catch her!

Even though we need NO more messes around here who could be mad at this sweet face?!?

Spring Sing

The girls had their "Spring Sing" concert last week.  They were very excited about it and we heard LOTS of the songs at home weeks before the big night.

Emmerson's class came out first and sang a couple songs.

Then Claire's class came out and sang too.

Audrey watched it all!

Then both classes sang together.

We had cookies and lemonade after the show.

The following is an attempt at a picture of Jack and the girls after the concert.

These three...
