Emmerson's Birthday Party

With all the traveling and Easter,  Emmerson's birthday celebration got pushed back to a few weekends after her real birthday.  She decided she wanted to pick a few friends to take with us to paint pottery.

Our sweet 6 year old!

Three of her kindergarten friends.

They all loved it!

Such sweet friends!

It was a beautiful day so we made a quick stop at one of our favorite parks.

Then we headed back to our house to play for awhile.

Tooth Fairy on Berkley Road

Emmerson lost her first tooth!  It had been wiggly for a couple weeks and she decided it was time for Daddy to pull it.  She was surprisingly clam and very excited...blood and all!

The tooth fairy did not disappoint!

Easter 2015

The girls were very excited about the possibility of the Easter bunny coming to visit.  So they were very pleased to wake up to full baskets.

Fresh out of bed and ready to search for their baskets.

The Easter bunny had not been to our house yet to leave us eggs to find.  It's funny how he usually comes after church if everyone behaves...

Sure enough there were eggs everywhere when we looked outside after church.

Easter was a success!

Emmerson turns 6

This sweet girl is 6!  It seems like yesterday that we met her for the first time.  She loves school and is learning so much.  She loves her sisters and is so good to them.  She is very social and very shy all at the same time.  Her favorite pass times are playing with her sisters, doing crafts, reading books, and being outside.

This was her first time ever going to school on her birthday.  It has always fallen on spring break.  She thought it was great that it was a half day.

Marin and Quinn came over after school to help us celebrate.  So a tea party was a must!

and we made bunny cakes.

These two are nothing short of trouble when they are together!  Their faces say it all!

Finished bunny cakes.  All ready for Easter weekend.

When Daddy got home we opened presents.  Of course Claire's was the best!

Then dinner and ice cream.

We had the bunny cake the next day.

Daddy started a new tradition this year in honor of something that my cousin always did with his girls.  A birthday date, just the two of them.  To say she was over the moon would be an understatement!

They even got to sit outside.

March Madness

March was a busy month around here.  We are hoping for good weather and some outside time in the near future!

Emmereson had Wacky Wednesday at school.  She was so excited about her outfit especially the socks on her hands...

Claire is still doing gymnastics, and loving it!

St. Patricks Day is always a fun day around here.

It is close to impossible to get a real picture of these girls when they are in a silly mood!

We met Jack for our annual green bagel date.

This little girl loves all things dress up...especially the fancy shoes.  She can even run in them.  Claire has taught her well.

Even though our trip to Chicago was for a very sad event, the girls loved getting to spend time with their cousins.  Claire and Tatum or SO much alike!
