Claire turns 4

It was a very busy weekend celebrating the sweetest 4 year old we know!  Claire is funny, inquisitive,  and sweet.  She loves to make us laugh and to make others happy.  On average she changes her clothes at least 10 times a day.  She still loves her dress up clothes and is pretty sure she will be a mermaid or fairy when she gets big! She is constantly singing and dancing and saying the craziest things!  Her sisters are still her favorite people and they can play together for hours.  She can make anyone smile!

The weekend started with a little party with some of Claire's preschool friends.  We went to the neighborhood bookstore for a few crafts and stories.

Of course it was a castle theme.  So it was a room full of princess and princes.

Next we went to the cupcake shop.

It was wild but fun!

That night we had Jack, Carter, Marin, Quinn and their families over.

Claire picked a pink cake with white icing this year.

Such sweet girls!

These two are best buddies! Hugs and kisses before they left.

By the time the day was over we had very tired girls!

The next morning was her "real birthday" so all the celebrating started again.

We started at Einstein for a bagel!

Then went home for presents.  Emmerson's was a hit.

Then we went to the park.

and for ice cream!

Then, of course Jimmy Johns for dinner.

And more cake with Nana and Pop Pop.  What a weekend for a special 4 year old!

18 months old

This sweet girl is 18 months old!  It doesn't seem possible!  She is happy all of the time, doesn't know a stranger, loves to make us laugh, and thinks her big sisters are the best!  She is a great sleeper and below average eater.  She can say just about anything and is even saying short sentences.  Her favorite being "I want more" and "I want that".  She is a climber and an accident waiting to happen so she keeps us on our toes, just like Claire.  She is now totally capable of keeping up with her sisters and will not have it any other way!  Our guess is we have about 6 months until we have to find a way to pack all three of them into one bedroom.
She adores Emmerson, she is always asking for EE.  She cuddles with her and asks her to hold her all of the time.  Her and Claire are two peas in a pod!  I am SO outnumbered by them!  They are so much alike and can find fun and trouble anywhere they are!  The more they get into the funnier it is to them!

This sums her up.  Emmerson's underwear on her head and Claire's pearl necklace.  Just because.

She already likes to change her clothes...often!  She can get her clothes off in a matter of seconds.  Thanks to Claire!

She can keep up at the park...Mom is in trouble this summer!

She is the silliest yet!

She got tubes for her 18 month gift.  We went to the ENT last Wednesday.  She was finishing up her last dose of her third round of antibiotics trying to kick the latest double ear infection.  The ENT knows our girls ears well, he took one look and told us to be there the next morning at 6:45am...It was time!

Sleepy but ready to fix these ears!

Thankfully she is a good patient.

She had no problem keeping busy while we waited.

She was just as mad as her sisters when she came out of surgery!

But a couple hours later we were home and she was back to normal!

Welcome March

March 1st came in with a storm...we woke up to 9 inches of snow!  The girls were so happy!  Thankfully it was a weekend so we could all enjoy it.

These girls LOVE the snow!

Audrey tries her best to keep up with the big girls. She would stay out all day.

but when she falls there is nothing she can do but wait for help!

Emmerson was outside most of the day.

Daddy shoveled a spot for Audrey to stand since the snow was so deep.  She just stood there and watched the girls play.

She did talk Daddy into a quick break.

Now we are ready for spring!

February Fun

February might be the shortest month but we found plenty of time for fun!

Making Daddy's birthday cake.

We had lots of cozy nights by the fire.

And lots of loving on our dog!

And of course some snow!
