Jolly Days

Jolly days at the Children's Museum is always one of our favorite things to do during the holidays.  The museum is really crowded this time of year so Mom didn't turn down the chance to have Nana's help taking everyone!

Ice skating

The ice castle

Baking cookies and of course seeing Santa....doesn't get much better!

Audrey was awake so she got to sit on Santa's lap too!

Confirming that they still want dress up clothes...and Claire even did a little dance for him!

The big slide is always a hit.  Nana was a good sport and went with the girls so Mom didn't have to wake up Audrey and take her too.  To no surprise Claire went down alone because Emmerson wouldn't!

Meeting Santa

We had a busy day of seeing Santa.  Two visits in one day brought many questions about how he could be so many different places and why he looked so different from Emmerson...

One of our stops was a visit with Santa in our neighborhood.

The cookies were of course a hit.

It was freezing cold and we had plenty of snow on the ground so the kids were running wild enjoying all of it.

Our next stop was the Indiana School for the Blind.  They have a tree sale each year that we love to go too.  Santa and his helpers are always there as well as lots of our friends.

The girls asked for dress up clothes!

The little tress are always a hit.

The Bladwins are always there.  Our families have grown a ton since the first time we went 4 years ago and Baby Baldwin #3 is due Christmas day!

Gingerbread houses

Each year we go to Broadripple park to make gingerbread houses.  It has become something that Emmerson really looks forward too.  This was Claire's first year making her own.  She was really excited about going.

All 3 girls ready to go!

Hard at work.

The finished product!

Such a fun girls day!

Ms. Marcy, Jack and Carter came too!

Audrey is 3 months old

Our sweet little girl is already 3 months old.  There isn't much to report because she is such a good baby!  Literally nothing to complain about.  She sleeps through the night and still doesn't miss a meal. She is all smiles!  She loves her sisters, likes to play on the playmat, and is starting to play with her toys.  She is very strong and doesn't mind her tummy time.  She loves to sit in her bumbo seat so she can watch her sisters.  She has found her hands and spends lots of time looking at them.  She has also really found her voice.  She "talks" and giggles all the time.  She works very hard to get her hands to her mouth and then is so happy when she is successful.

Our smiley little bug!

Our normal view...hands in her mouth!

Life with the big girls is busy most days.

Claire is still crazy and has a mind of her own.

Emmerson is still very into crafts and games and she will take any chance she gets to play with her little sisters.

They LOVE snow!  We got our first real snow this week and they were so excited to get out in it!

Thanksgiving at the beach

We were lucky enough to spend a week at the beach with 36 of our Surber relatives.  We were only missing Kyle, Jenn and Cole since they were at home waiting on baby William to arrive.  We were there to celebrate GG's 90th birthday and Thanksgiving.  We had so much fun with everyone and kept VERY busy with so many people around.  We are so lucky to still be able to spend time with GG and for her to be so much fun to be around.

GG's birthday cake on Thanksgiving day!

No better place to be than on the beach for Thanksgiving.  This is the big football game on Thanksgiving morning. (yes, those adults are wearing the kids jerseys)

Some of the cheerleaders

All ready for Thanksgiving dinner.

Loving on the Uncles all around

We had family pictures taken with GG.  Everyone did very well.  This is GG with 12 of her 15 (at the time...now 16) great grandchildren.

No shortage of love for this little girl!

Just telling Pop Pop about her day!  She enjoyed her first trip to Florida

It was so nice to be able to be outside so much and spend so much time with our family.  Especially Uncle Matt and the boys.

Audrey was a great traveler and just went along with whatever we were doing.

Our sweet girls love Florida and being together!

We love spending time with these two!

This place is exhausting!
