February Fun

February fun includes recovering from the holidays and all the travel, staying warm, and being home!

This girl is silly.  If I turn my head she disappears into her room and puts on as many items of clothing as possible.

She loves to ride Sandy at the store.

Claire did the talent show at school.

She likes donuts

She also loves her biggest sister

We were invited to an Olympic party.  Emmerson spent hours prepping for it.

Finally enough hair for piggies!

Quinn invited Audrey on a day date.  She was so excited.

These two are such sweet friends!

We are still living in a construction zone so at any given time we are all hiding from the mess and noise in one room.

Audrey was so excited to take her valentines to school.  Valentines day is one of the girls favorites.  Daddy was traveling for work but we still tried to do all our special traditions.

Heart pizza

A special dinner

Gifts of course!

Popsicles are yummy even when it is cold outside.

We officially have another big girl that can read to the little girls.

Audrey's number 1 treat....olives!

Best buddies!

Daddy's 4-0

Daddy was traveling for work the week before his birthday so we had plenty of time to get everything ready to celebrate.

We did some shopping and wrapping, decorating, baking, and pushed our contractors A LOT!

Nothing like a homemade cake!

We had a couple more surprises up our sleeves.

While Daddy was traveling for work we begged our contractor to get our room done.  When he left it was far from done!  Our hope was for Daddy to get to sleep in our new room the night he got home for his 40th birthday.  The guys worked pretty much around the clock for 5 days! To call the room done might have been a stretch but by the time he got home there was carpet and furniture!  And 4 happy girls waiting for him.

We had one last surprise.  We headed to Bloomington for what Daddy thought was a just a date night away.  When we got there all of his favorite people were waiting on him to celebrate. He was so happy and felt like we moved mountains to make this happen.  5 couples got 13 kids covered to sneak away for the night.
