July FUN

In July our weekends were busy but our weekdays were slow....just how we like it!   We spent most of the free time at the pool and playing at home!

Of course a few trips to the museum too!

Caroline is so busy she has to take some calls at the orthodontist.

We think it is so funny that Caroline will find any puddle at the pool to play in even though there are lots of real pools to pick from!

The Kempers like to come to the pool with us too!

Marin is almost 14 months younger than Emmerson.

The big girls did a cheer camp this summer and LOVED it!

We snuck out for a whole day to celebrate Wes turning 40!

Almost every week we would walk/ride to the library and pretzel shop.

Best baby sister ever!

Almost every time I look back in the car some collection of girls are holding hands.

This is how you get a car cleaned out with 4 kids....everyone sits on the curb and watches!

Chuck now has a carseat, because that's what we need, a 5th carseat in the van!

More puddles

When it's quiet, look here first!

Our neighbors left an old doll house behind for us to put out for the trash but Chuck moved in before it was trash day.

Mornings on the Monon.

They talk me into the bagel shop more often than they should!

Our last date with the Kemper crew before Marin goes back to school.

Emmerson makes herself comfortable anywhere.

Summer playdates are the best!

She's super helpful with the laundry situation!

Saying goodbye to Caroline as we were heading to the lake!

Klinger Lake 3.0

Our weekend at Colliers lake house if by far a favorite each summer! We all have so much fun.  We play, tube, ski, eat too much, and spend time with some of our favorite people!

This mat brings endless hours of fun!

Everyone's lap and arms are free for the taking!

The kids that swim from sun up to sun down insist on a "taxi" to the speed boat so they don't get wet!

She seems so big this year!

All the kids (minus Caroline that stayed with Nana and Pop Pop)

We always go the weekend of Jeni's birthday so we love celebrating her!

Such good buddies!

We feel bad leaving Caroline out but it gives us a chance to have some big girl time!

Chuck is never left out!

The girls have gotten really good at being independent on the water.

Everyone loves tubing, even Audrey!

It was a BIG year for Emmerson.  She learned to ski and was able to make it all the way around the lake!

Happy Birthday Jeni!

40 years old this year and still best buddies!

These people are such an important part of our village.  It is so fun to all be together.  It's even better to watch our kids friendships grow!

No one is ever ready to go home!
