3 Weeks old Already

Daddy takes two full weeks off when the babies are born.  With each baby the time goes faster and is much less relaxing. Between doctors appointment for me and Caroline we were busy most days.  We try to enjoy every minute of having him home and I am always a little sad when he goes back to work.  Thank goodness Nana came back to help that week so I bought a little extra time until I was on my own with all 4!

Daddy has made it a tradition not to shave the whole time he is home.

3 weeks old

Audrey entertains her with anything she can find.

She is doing so well at night!

Claire starts her day the same way everyday.  She says, this is her time with the baby.

We are starting to see more of her eyes.

Still everyones favorite pass time.  Emmerson keeps saying she wishes we had two babies...

We can't get enough of this sweet face.

Trying out her playmat.

Very under impressed!

Claire is really enjoying being Caroline's big sister.  She keeps telling me how lucky she is!

Audrey too!

It is a HUGE deal when her eyes are open.  Everyone comes running to look!

She will still sleep anywhere and we take full advantage of that.

She is starting to look so different now that the swelling has gone down and she has lost some of those cheeks!

A couple hours before she officially turned 3 weeks old she squeezed in her first real bath at home.  It was a BIG deal.  Our bathroom felt very small!

A visit from Cousins

Some of our cousins from Evansville came to visit.  My cousin, Angie, also has all daughters.  Our girls love to play together.

We were excited for them to meet Caroline.  Angie is about to have her 4th daughter.  So the next picture will have 8 girls!

Claire and Emma are 5 weeks apart and A LOT a like.  This picture sums them up well!

They went to watch Maddy play soccer.

Mia is a couple years older than Emmerson.  Emme loves to be with her!

Emmerson's Daisy Celebration

Emmerson's Daisy troop earned an end of the year celebration from selling cookies.  They chose to go horseback riding.

It was a very cold day and this little girl was VERY nervous.  So nervous she didn't even notice what was in the wheelbarrow she is standing next too!

But when it was time she got on the huge horse and loved it!

After they rode the first graders had their bridging ceremony.  They are now brownies!

Ms. Anne was the best leader!

Emmerson has loved Daisies and is excited to move on to Brownies.

Marin's Birthday Party

Marin's birthday party was at a horse barn this year.  The girls were so excited to go!

They got to help groom a pony.

They even got to dress the part.

Then everyone got to ride a horse.

They finished with a hayride.

The girls said it was the best party ever!

Since Audrey didn't go the girls reenacted it at home for her!

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was extra special this year because we added another little lady to our family just in time to celebrate with us.  The girls were so excited to celebrate and do something fun as a family.

The weather wasn't great but we still managed to get out and go to our favorite ice cream shop.

10 days old

I am a lucky mom!

Nothing better than the homemade gifts!

Caroline's Second Week at Home

Sweet Caroline has settled in nicely.  She seems to be very laid back and tolerant of our chaos.  She still sleeps most of the time but has been doing better eating.  We have been cleared to weekly weight checks.

Her swelling has gone down so she is losing those super chubby cheeks.

This is my view for most feedings.

The girls think it is so funny when she gets a finger in her mouth.

There is no shortage of arms to hold this sweet baby!
