December FUN

December is always a busy month full of fun holiday activities but we found plenty of time for fun at home.  

This girl is keeping us BUSY!  If you turn your head for a minute you never know where you might find her!

Claire spent a lot of time in December wrapping presents.  

Our Christmas Day

We had very excited little girls on Christmas morning (though Mom and Dad were still the first ones up at 8:00).  Once everyone was up they wasted no time getting down to the tree. 

The stockings are always first.  It seems that they were happy enough with just those little things that it might have been enough!

Then we moved on to the gifts under the tree.

and to the gifts Santa left in the family room!

By the time we had breakfast we were all ready for some yummy food!

Then we went back to opening gifts.  

And playing with all the fun new toys!

After church we went to the Singhs for dinner. 

One of the best parts of the night was the live music and dancing that went with it.  Claire LOVES when Curt plays the guitar.  Jack and Claire have so much fun dancing.

Our Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is always a very exciting night!  There is a lot to be done to prepare for Santa's visit! We asked Santa if he come visit us a day early since we were leaving for Florida.  Of course, he said yes since the girls had been so good.

It's amazing how quickly Santa arrives...Literally seconds after the girls went to bed!

Christmas with grandparents

We got to celebrate Christmas with both sets of grandparents a little early.  It was a fun way to start our Christmas fun!  As expected it was very crazy during these celebrations so the pictures aren't the best.  The quick version is these girls are VERY lucky little girls that have great grandparents!

The big girls were excited to get the Christmas decorations out and the tree up.  Emmerson has been asking for coloerd lights for the last couple years.  We finally agreed.  Audrey was very intrigued by the lights.  We were busy getting everything out and I looked over and this is what I saw...
