We were lucky to have most of August before Emmerson had to go back to school. So we made the most of it.
We made another quick trip to Fort Wayne to see Nana and Pop Pop because Chris Holm and his family were home visiting. We spent the day at Chuck and Nikki's on the lake.
The girls liked their new paddle boat

Chris' oldest, Delaney, was so much fun to play with!
The low point of August was having our whole front yard dug up to fix a cracked water pipe
but the girls loved watching the work all day!
There were lots of morning snuggles!
and a dentist appointment.

We visited the zoo a couple more times
We said good bye to the koalas. They were just visiting for the summer.
The crafts were endless-this one was shrinky dinks
and lots of time with toys...
and of course more morning snuggles!
St. Thomas' Susagefest is always a highlight for us. Claire won a cake at the cake walk...hours before we went home.
So it won the only seat in the stroller making the walk home way past bedtime interesting!
We went with Owen to Conner Prairie .

This is happens when Daddy rips a diaper off at the pool without looking what is in it first. You carry a stinky baby to the car wrapped in a towel.
These two miss Emmerson while she is at school but they are so much a like that they are having a lot of fun together.
