May Fun

May is always a very busy month for us with all the end of school activities.  It seems to sneak up on us and in a blink of the eye another school year is over. 

Claire finished her first year of flamenco dancing and loved it.

The little girls and I played outside as much as possible. 

The kindergarten class always plans the last mass of the year.  It is so sweet.  Claire did a reading and the whole class sings a song.  

The author of the Pete the Cat books was at our neighborhood bookstore so most of Claire's class went to meet him. 

Audrey picked her fleece Santa pjs for her pajama day the last week of school.  

Our baby is getting so big. 

She loves to wear Audrey's backpack and push her stroller.

This is the 4th little lady to love this car! 

Marin (and her mom's) birthdays are at the very end of May so we met them at the park for a quick celebration. 

Memorial Day Weekend

Daddy always goes to the race leaving us to a fun girls day.  The girls planned the whole day and keep us VERY busy.

First...the zoo!

The new exhibit opened and the girls were so excited to see the macaws.

The baby orangutan was out and playing.  The girls adore her and love that she is the same age as Caroline. 

I got talked into a train ride... 

After a quick nap we went swimming which gave me a taste of what my summer was going to be like.  

Taking 4 swimming with this one mobile will be very very interesting. 

Last Day of Preschool

Audrey had an incredible year in the preschool class.  We hoped we made the right decision by sending her to preschool instead of leaving her in mothers day out even though she missed the cut off by a few days. No question, we did! She had the BEST teachers and learned so much! 

What a difference a school year makes.  These little ladies changed a ton!  

To say Audrey adored her teachers (or we did) would be an understatement.  We were over the moon when we heard they were looping up to PreK.   

Mother's Day

I woke up to lots of noise running around the house but was told to stay in bed...

When I was told to come out of our room I was supposed to "Follow the arrows".

There was a ribbon cutting ceremony, 

 decorations, 

and gifts.  All before breakfast!  

I am a very lucky lady! 

Mother's Day Tea

Audrey's school has a Mother's Day tea every year.  It is for sure one of the biggest highlights for both of us of the school year.  

She had to pick out the perfect dress. 

And was all smiles on the way. 

Audrey made me this fancy headband. 

They sang us lots of songs. 

We ate some yummy treats. 

And looked at her art work. 

Then she read me a book.  I love these special days with our girl!
