August FUN

I am so thankful that the girls don't go back to school as early as some and that we get a big chuck of August but....we still never seem ready for summer to end. 

Claire couldn't go underwater or be in direct sunlight for a couple weeks in August so we found shade and wore hats! 

Ready for the museum 

We made a couple "last trips" to the museum.

Had friends over to tap dance.

Ate bagels! 

and took lots of bike rides. 

Daddy was out of town the second night of sausagefest so Mom went prepared..

Emmerson got to help in the kids zone this year. 

We are so happy Audrey has this extra year before kindergarten so her and Caroline have some more time alone together!  They have so much fun playing with all the toys alone! 

Since Quinn and Colin didn't start school until after Labor Day we were able to squeeze in some extra time with them. 

The girls love to disappear and make up dances for us to watch later! 

So happy I still get her at home this year! 

We also found plenty of time to go to parks. 

Caroline's Open house

Caroline's Mother's Day Out class had an open house the week before her school started.  Audrey was excited to go with her since it wasn't a school day for her. 

She had fun trying out all the toys.

Then, of course we headed to the bagel shop!

She was less than excited for no real reason really.  Just would rather have stayed home.

A new school year is here! Starting our 5th year at STA

Audrey doesn't go on Thursdays so she starts tomorrow... Which means we headed right to the bagel shop! 

Last Days of Sweet Sweet Summer

When we realized we were down to two days left of summer we were all sad.  As crazy as it is to go nonstop with all four in tow we love every minute of it.  They have so much fun together and I think this time is so important for them to continue to build this amazing bond..  I asked the girls what they wanted to do for their last couple days of summer and to no surprise they picked a quick trip to Fort Wayne.  I decided why not!  So we packed up last minute and went. 

They love to go to Cindy's house for haircuts...It helps that she has a dance floor in her basement. 

They all got back to school cuts. 

and manicures and pedicures 

Played at Nana and Pops 

and went to bed exhausted! 

On our way back into town we stopped for ice cream to celebrate an incredible summer!
