5 weeks

We had Audrey's one month well check appointment the day she turned 5 weeks old.  The doctor was pleased with her growth.  She weighs 10 pounds 1 ounce and is 22 inches long.  She got a shot which she was not pleased about but recovered quickly.

Couldn't be any sweeter!

We went to a fall party and she wore her cute pumpkin dress.

Yes, her hair sticks up like this all the time!

We then headed to Bloomington for a walk and quick dinner with just her.  We think she enjoyed her first walk on campus.

and dinner at Nicks...on a Saturday night.

These two are just getting bigger by the minute!  Emmerson is making pumpkins muffins.

Claire is eating them!

Anna's Birthday party

We went to Anna's 5th birthday party this weekend.  It is so fun to watch our kids grow up together.  There are very few things that Emme and Claire like to do more than playing with Anna.

Audrey was unimpressed with her first birthday party. She slept the whole time. (1 month today)

All the kids, minus Owen ( Nolan, Emme, Jake, Will, Claire, Anna)

Someone enjoyed the cupcakes!

Bella's birthday

Our sweet girl turned 12 this week!

These girls couldn't love her more!

We are sure this one will too!

1 month old

It has been the fastest month yet.  We really can not believe Audrey is already a month old.  I guess that means she is a good baby if time is flying by.  She has fit just perfectly into our crazy life.  She is still asleep for most things we do but we are starting to see her awake a bit more.  She is gaining weight and sleeping great.  I usually fed her around 9:30 pm for the last time and she doesn't wake again until around 6:00 she eats and is right back to sleep.  Better than we could have ever hoped for as a newborn.  We seem to have a handle on her acid reflux with the medication so we hope to continue to have a happy baby!

She is starting to enjoy the playmat. (of course she never has to play alone)

Bright eyes

PJ time

The other day I was getting everyone ready for naps and Emmerson asked if she could babysit Audrey while I put Claire down.  So I put them in Emmerson's old bed.  It was so sweet.  When I came back everyone was happy so Emme asked if she could stay.  I of course let her.  I listened in the monitor to the sweetest 20 minutes ever!  Emmerson sang to her, read a book to her and just talked to her.

We tried for round two in Bloomington this weekend.  The weather was questionable but it seemed like we were going to be ok...until we were about 5 minutes away and it started pouring.  We decided even crazy parents like us should not tailgate in the rain with a 4 year old, 2 year old and 1 month old.  Luckily our friends where with us so we just went back to their house to "tailgate".

Vivian was excited to hold Audrey.

Talk about a crazy crowd...when we are together we have 6 kids four or under!

3 weeks old

Our sweet baby girl is 3 weeks old.  We are loving every minute with her.  She is still a great eater and sleeping very well.  Our transition to a family of 5 is still going pretty smoothly.  Big girls still love their baby sister and mom is somehow managing being on her own with all 3 with Dad back at work and Nana at home.

Emmerson still wants to hold her all the time.  (Audrey is wearing the outfit we brought Emmerson home from the hospital in.)

3 weeks old

Poor baby had to take a ride in the big girl stroller...she did not enjoy it.

As you can see she has a very rough life!

Nana was kind enough to get the girls microphones.  Emmerson figured out that she can put it up to Audrey's mouth when she cries and it is really loud!  Thanks a lot Nana!

Our sweet girl the day she turned 3 weeks old.

Poor baby has the craziest hair we have ever seen.  SUPER curly and she has lost most of it in the front and on one side!

Daddy sneaking in a cuddle after the big girls went to bed.

Audrey loves to look at her big sister.

Our baby burrito

Bedtime is crazy around here.

We are still having lots of visitors...

Wes had no trouble getting cozy with Audrey

Anna and Owen loved holding her.

I came downstairs and Emmerson had written this all by herself.

With all the pictures of Audrey it looks as though life as normal has stopped...it hasn't!  In fact it has hardly even slowed down...

Emmerson still has lots of play dates.

Claire is still crazy as ever.

And we are still finding plenty to keep us busy as a family.  This was on our way to the IU vs. Butler soccer game.

Apple picking

We went to the apple orchard for the first time this year. It was a beautiful day and the girls loved picking their own apples.  I am sure this will be a new tradition.

As you can see Audrey was very excited about the orchard.

Claire picked as many as she could without even looking at them to see if they were good ones...

Only the best apples for this one... and only red.

Daddy helped us pick apples way up high!

The whole family...Audrey slept through the whole trip but she was there.

I looked over and saw this...she just couldn't wait.

YUM!

Jack and his family came with us so we had to measure each other.
