Christmas Day

Christmas morning...Finally!  Claire asked every morning for weeks if Santa had come when she woke up.  So we knew she would be happy when we could finally say YES!  We were up and ready well before the girls were up.  I am sure this will be one of the last years that someone doesn't wake up early.  When they woke up they waited at the top of the stairs while we got Audrey up and went down to make sure Santa came.

Excited girls....as you can see Bella was very excited too.

Stockings first!

Sleepy baby watching the action!

Happy girls ripping through the gifts.

The only 4 year old that is SO excited about a projector!

The girls got each other gifts this year and they were so sweet.  They kept hugging and telling each other thank you.

Anything Doc Mcstuffins was a hit for Claire this Christmas.

The big girls were happy to open Audrey's gifts for her

Santa brought the girls LOTS of dress up clothes!

The girls were really excited this year about gift giving.  So they could hardly wait for us to open our gifts.

Christmas in Fort Wayne

After lunch at home on Christmas Day we headed to Fort Wayne.  It is the first time in 8 years we have been in Fort Wayne for Christmas.  So the girls first time!

Nana and Pop Pop were waiting with MORE presents!

Our happy girl still just watching all the action.

Anyone that has talked to Claire in the last 3 months knows this is ALL she wanted...a Doc Mcstuffins bag!

Uncle Matt and the boys were kind enough to get Claire a baby that eats, burps and goes to the bathroom!  Daddy was not happy with Uncle Matt.

Emmerson got her Easy Bake Oven that she really wanted.  We were able to try all kinds of yummy treats!

Our sweet babies after a LONG day!

One of Moms traditions growing up was Christmas dinner with the Holms.  Our girls love them so they were happy to be part of that tradition.  Caty helped Audrey with more gifts!

Nikki made a special spot for the girls to eat.

Emmerson served some easy bake cookies for dessert!

More dress up clothes...they went on immediately!

The day after Christmas we went to the Botanical Gardens to see all the holiday decorations.

The girls found plenty of fun things to do

Our sweet family!

Happiest baby we know!

Emmerson found all kinds of hiding spots

Pop Pop introduced poor Audrey to his radio!

More December FUN

Between all the holiday events and excitement December was busy!  But we found time for a few more things...

Snowmen and sledding!

Snuggling and watching Christmas movies

The IMA holiday celebration

This little girl moved to her big girl crib...without even noticing!

We took Daddy to Jolly Days at the museum

We even got to squeeze in some time with Marin and Baby Quinn!

Christmas Eve

This year we decided it was time to figure out what we want our holiday family traditions to be.  We usually travel at Christmas and that means our plans are always working around that. This year we were not going to Florida so we decided Christmas Eve would just be a day at home doing the things the girls love.

That included lots of puzzle and games

This little girl just watches everything.

Making cookies for Santa

All ready for church

Making reindeer food

We put the reindeer food all around the tree so when Santa tied them up they would have a snack

We found a package from Twinkle the elf on our porch again this year.  He brought us Christmas jammies and a Christmas book to read before bed.

Claire was VERY excited about her first nightgown.

This might be the funniest picture we took during the holidays!  Daddy thinks she will be mad about this someday!

All ready for bed in our new jammies

Cookies out and ready!

Christmas with Grandma and Grandma

Our first Christmas celebration was with Grandma and Grandpa Bloede.  The girls were so excited to kick off the season and to open presents.

They got their very own cameras that take real pictures.

and some dress up clothes!

Audrey slept through most of it but the big girls liked opening her gifts too.

Trip to the Dentist

Time for a trip to the dentist...with all three girls.  I figured it would be interesting but it was actually very uneventful.

Everyone was excited in the waiting room and Emmerson was begging to go first.

Of course when we got back there she made Claire go first.  Which she happily did.

The best part was watching Doc Mcstuffins while they waited for the dentist to come in and as Claire would say "count their teeth."
