Fall Break

Emmerson and Claire had a couple days off for fall break this week.  We took advantage of every minute of it!

The weather was perfect!  We spent some time at the IMA just running around.

Then we went into the Star Studio with Anna and Owen,

The girls loved all the crafts.

Best buddies!

Then we headed over to 100 acres to play for a couple hours!

These two are so funny together.

Before Emmerson started kindergarten we would go to an open gym on Friday mornings.  The girls loved it!  We hadn't been since last spring.  So they were very excited when we realized we could go during break.

The bars are always a favorite.

This is the first time Audrey got in on the fun!  She was all over the place...making me VERY outnumbered!

Emmerson is getting very brave.

I was amazed at what this one was capable of!

We also went to a pumpkin craving party at 100 acres.  The girls were excited to carve their pumpkins.

Making a plan.

An excited little carver.

Daddy is a good assistant.

Emmerson went with a traditional face.

Claire went with a cat face.

And a little extra.

Finished product.

Happy girls!

Fun family times!

This one talked us into a few more minutes at 100 acres.

Our First Haunted House

We went to the Children's Museums haunted house for the first time.  We went during the lights on hours.  We were actually surprised by how much the girls liked it.

The trick or treating was the best part of course!

We met Marin and Quinn there.

Zoo Boo

We made our annual trip to Zoo Boo.  We got very lucky with the weather this year.

As we walked in we saw Elsa....the girls squealed with delight!  They were screaming, "It's the REAL Elsa!"

The girls are pros at trick or treating!

There was just a little animal watching.

Our sweet pumpkins

Minnie Mouse was there too.

We played a few pumpkin games on our way out of the zoo.

Another successful year!

The Hursh Clan was with us, which is always fun and a little crazy!

We braved dinner out with all 6 tired kids (5 or under).  Audrey was apparently too tired to hold on to her food!

Tailgating with the Singhs

The Singhs joined us for an IU game again this year.  It is so fun to get to spend the whole day with them.  Jack loves football and the girls love tailgating so it is the perfect match!

We have added two sweet babies since the last family tailgate!

It was a little chilly but everyone still had fun!

These three have so much fun together.

and these two are becoming buddies too!

all ready for the game.

Emmerson LOVES this little boy!

100 Acres

Emmerson had an early release day so Daddy took the afternoon off.  It was a beautiful day so we went to 100 acres.

We love to go there.  There are so many fun areas to play in.

Or just lay in the grass.

The bones are the big girls favorite.
