December FUN

December is always a busy month with holiday fun.  We still find plenty of time to keep busy with friends and at home.

This one is starting to look very big!

She loves her new school and so do we!

I didn't think anyone could like to be comfortable or cozy more than Claire but this little girl can make herself comfortable anywhere.

When we spend time with the Zionsville crew there is no shortage of girls!

The little girls love going to open gym on Friday mornings.  Sometime we take friends along.

Everyone is happy when Emmerson is home!

Claire got to go to one of her best buddies birthday parties.

Claire is so excited about having another baby.  She can not keep her hands off of my tummy.

Claire is really into crafts now too, which makes Emmerson very happy!

We have spent lots of time playing games and avoiding the cold.

The girls are convinced this is the best place in the house to be.  She won't dare move once she claims  her spot because she knows her sisters will move in as soon as she does.

Emmerson's first request when her winter break started was breakfast at the bagel shop.

You never know what Claire will be wearing but it is a safe bet that it will be the opposite of what is weather appropriate.

Sweet sisters!

Christmas with the Singhs

We have a tradition of going to the Singhs for pizza after Christmas Eve church

The kids run wild and enjoy every minute of it!

Then we say our goodbyes so Santa can visit them and we can prepare to head to Florida!

Christmas Day

Christmas Day....nothing better for these three!

They waited at the top of the stairs while Daddy went down to see if Santa stopped by.

They were pleased to see that he did and they wasted no time digging into their stockings.

Before we quickly moved on to the presents.

Claire was so excited to give the gifts she had picked out at her school shop for us

and squealed with delight over Kidz Bop!

This girl is never disappointed with crafts!

And Audrey could keep up with no problems this year!

Santa delivered on the request of American girl camping supplies so these two were happy.  Audrey was over the moon about her "little trampoline" though the proof is somehow missing.

Once gifts were opened we had a big breakfast and relaxing day!

Then headed to church.

The girls were angels in the Christmas program this year.

Our Christmas Eve

We wrote Santa a letter this year and asked if he could come a night early since we were headed to Florida.  We were not surprised Santa said yes, we hear he likes Florida too!

We had our normal Christmas eve at home.  It's just a day we hang out together and do the things we like to do.

We played lots of games, read books, had a fire and ate some of our favorite foods.

Then we got ready for bed so Santa could come.

We set the cookies and milk out for the big guy on our way upstairs.

A Christmas Visit from Nana and Pop Pop

Nana and Pop Pop came down for a quick visit before Christmas.  The girls were so excited because they hadn't been down in awhile due to Pop Pop breaking his back.

Our plan was for a very low key celebration.  Dinner and opening gifts before they headed home.  Claire on the other hand came down in her Christmas dress and had the whole evening planned.

So we went with it.

We opened gifts first!  It was wild but they loved it!

Audrey tried to hold everything she opened the whole time.

This girl!  She is over the moon about everything!

Emmerson is much more reserved but was just as happy!

When the BIG beanie boos were opened Christmas was complete in the big girls mind!

Audrey was happy to finally have her own sleeping bag.

The girls did their own shopping for the grandparents this year.  They were so excited to give them their gifts.

We then headed downtown for dinner and to see the lights at the circle.
