Time with our cousins

One of the best parts of our Florida trips is that we get to see so many of our cousins.  The girls LOVE spending time with all of them. Uncle Matt is very busy at work so we missed seeing them this trip but got to see lots of others.

The best part is all the adults are willing to help with all the kids.  So kids can run pretty wild between the pool and the beach. 

Our biggest cousin made it this year.  Kira is the best!  The little kids adore her and she is so great with them!

I feel so lucky that our kids have this group to grow up with!

The Beach

All 3 girls love the beach.  The shells, digging in the sand, and playing in the water.

Claire doesn't mind being covered head to toe in sand.

Headed out to find some shells.  Audrey finally really loves the beach too, rather than just tolerates it!  

Boogie boards are a new hit!

She is finally brave enough to walk out in the water alone to meet Daddy.

We are so lucky that the set up of the condo is so kid friendly.  We just bounce back and forth from the beach to the pool all day long!

Lots of sand castle building happens.  Any pile of sand is considered a sand castle to these two.

Wrapping our week

We are so lucky that we get to spend this time away and together over the holidays!  

I am not sure there is anything sweeter than your kids sleeping....unless they are holding hands in their sleep!

On our last day in Florida there was a wedding right outside our pool.   The girls watched every minute of it! 

We made the most of our last day by staying outside until after 6:00. 

Which meant our kids looked like this by 7:00.  Yes, that is Claire asleep under Emmerson.  

Then the 5:00am alarm went off and it was time to head home!  

Even at 5:00 am we get some sweet smiles

We said our goodbyes and hit the road! 

No easier way to get tired kids to the car. 

Thankfully this is what everyone looked like for a lot of the trip home!
