The Whole Emmerson Family

The night before Caroline's baptism we got to spend time with the Emmerson family.  It's a big crazy crew when we are all together but so much fun! 

Two cousins (Angie and I) and our 8 daughters!  What are the chances that we would both have 4 girls?!?

A visit with Our Cousins

We love nothing more than a visit from our cousins and Uncle Matt.  The girls count down their arrival for weeks and are never disappointed.  We keep very busy and the boys are so good with our girls!

They were so excited to hold her.

We had perfect pool weather so we took advantage of it. 

Emmerson was able to sneak by the lifeguards and go down the slide for the first time.  She was so excited.

Most schools around us were already back to school so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. 

Charlie adores our girls.  He is such a big help. 

As if she doesn't get enough attention, she wants for nothing when Uncle Matt is around.

The boys always want to go to Recreation Unlimited when they visit.

We took the boys on a date while they were here.  They are the sweetest! 

My favorite boys! 

I came to bed one night and was literally climbing over bodies to get to our bed.  Caroline was still sleeping in our room, Charlie wanted to sleep by Caroline, Claire wanted to sleep by Charlie, Emmerson (not pictured) didn't want to be left out...leaving our room looking like this! 

This poor baby was so worn out by the time they left!  This is what tired looks like!  

The State Fair

We decided to make a quick trip to the fair one day while the boys were here.  Our quick trip turned into over 5 hours of fun!

Charlie and Adam love Caroline so much.  It was so sweet to watch!

They loved riding the train from spot to spot. 

This little girl was a trooper.  It was hot, she was tired, and hardly got fed all day long.  She just looked around and took it all in without a complaint. 

The girls went on their first carnival rides and we were shocked with how much they liked them!

Caroline snuck in a little catnap during the rides. 

Audrey loved the train even though she was the only one on it. 

Nana even got talked into a ride or two!

This little lady was pleased with all the junk food she was allowed. 

The fair is never complete without the pony rides.

The girls were finally big enough to go on the go-carts with the boys.

All in all a successful day at the fair!
