Christmas with Nana and Pop Pop

It's the most wonderful time of the year!  The girls were giddy to kick off the Christmas celebrations.

Caroline loved her first experience opening gifts.

The mermaid tails are a huge hit!

Jolly Days

Jolly Days is always one of the girls favorite holiday activities.  We always try to go on a weekday afternoon to beat the crowd.  This year we were pretty much the only people there and the girls had so much fun!

Ice fishing...

Earning our elf ears...

Ice skating...

Cookie making...

and a snowball fight!

Our trip always ends with a final trip down the slide.

(Yes, we are back.  Computer trouble and lack of time to tackle finding the problem put us a bit behind BUT....I plan to catch up slowly!)

Breakfast with Santa

One of our favorite holiday traditions is breakfast with Santa at the children's museum. The girls told Santa what they were hoping for and asked him if he could come a day early so we can leave for Florida.

Caroline just sat and took it all in during breakfast.

This is one of our many traditions with Jack and Carter.

Audrey told us she wasn't going to cry this year...and she didn't.

She couldn't stop staring at him.

Audrey asked for an American Girl Doll and ballet slippers.

Emmerson asked for a keyboard

Claire asked for a violin.

The holiday crafts are always a favorite.

This sweet boy adores Caroline!

Jolly Days was packed so we just went in for a minute (with the promise of another visit) while we waited for our turn on the slide.

We all were excited to go down the slide!

Advent Concert

The girls had their advent concert this week.  Each class sings one song and then the whole school sings a couple songs all together.

Our second grader

Our kindergartner

Not sure there is anything sweeter than a kindergarten class singing.

Emmerson was right in front of us.  Caroline saw her and was squealing for her.  It was so sweet!

Sweet Potatoes-YUM!

The day before Caroline turned 7 months she got her first taste of baby food.  She was a good little eater thanks to the practice with the rice cereal.  Audrey had helped me make the baby food so she was excited to see her eat it.

She was pleased with her first bite.

She is so funny, she leans so far into the spoon it is hard to catch her mouth.

It's gone?
