Zoo day!

We spent Marin's last day of summer at the zoo.  We hate that we won't get to spend as much time with her when school starts but feel so lucky that we had so much fun with her this summer!

Moving out!

We spent last week moving out of Mom's classroom.  After trying to extend my leave and it being denied we decided that it is best for our family right now for us to be home together.   It was a tough decision for us but we know we made the right one!

Indians Game

Emmerson earned free tickets to the Indians game through the summer reading program at the library.  So we went with the Kempers this week.  The girls had a great time!

I think food was the biggest it!

Fun at the Holms

We needed to  get one more day in at the Holms this summer.  Sadly, Chuck and Pop Pop had to work.  We love it there.  The girls make themselves at home!

Caty brought the girls happy meals.  Of course neither of them would eat the food?!? but they loved their new hats!

Thanks for having us.  We miss you already!

Pool time!

It has been a HOT summer around here so we have spent a lot of time at the pool.  

Emmerson is so brave in the water and LOVES it!

Lucky girls!

These two are so lucky to have each other.  It is so fun to watch them together.  They are learning so much from each other already....both good and bad!  I guess that is what siblings are for!  They are almost always within touching distance from each other and usually happily playing together.  Their giggles melt us!

Best part of the day is when Daddy gets home from work!

Emme always says, "Baby I need a tight hug." and she is happy to give her one!

Emmerson has helped teach Claire the love for reading.

She thinks her sister is SO funny!
