Daddy's Birthday

Daddy's birthday was a BIG deal at our house.  The girls were so excited to have a "party" for him.  The gifts had been purchased for awhile. They come up with their own ideas.  Claire got him toaster tongs, "so he wouldn't burn his fingers when he makes bagels" and Emmerson got him snow pants.  Seems just about right since Claire loves to have bagels with him and Emmerson loves to play in the snow with him!

Time to make a cake.

Audrey was a big help!

They have cake making down.

Mastering the frosting could still use some work.

This is after I tried to "fix" it a bit!

They were very proud of it!  Which is all that mattered.

A happy Daddy with his girls!

Bless our Sweet Audrey

Our sweet Audrey was baptized at Saint Thomas Aquinas.  She had lots of family there to celebrate with her.  She didn't seem to mind all the attention.

Such sweet cousins!

Her Godparents: Uncle Matt and Aunt Brigee.  Such a lucky girl to have these two in her life!

These girls can find fun anywhere they go!

She didn't mind the water.

She loved looking at the candle

Lots of love for this little girl!

Happy cousins

We were so excited that Uncle Matt and the boys could come for Audrey's baptism.  They were able to extend their trip a bit so we were able to squeeze in some fun things!  These 5 have so much fun when they are together!

We found time to relax and play at home.

These two love Audrey and are so good with her.

We got to go swimming at Nana and Pop Pop's hotel.

Charlie helped with lots of crafts.

Excited to swim!

We went to Recreation Unlimited (an indoor playground) and the kids loved it!

This poor baby just couldn't keep up.

Bedtime was CRAZY but fun!

We went to a Butler game.  I think it was the boys highlight of the weekend.

After the game we were able to go down on the court to play basketball.

Such a FUN weekend!

The newest St. Thomas Aquinas kindergartner to-be!

We can't believe it is time to talk about kindergarten!

Emmerson was ready to go to her kindergarten assessment at Saint Thomas Aquinas.  Of course she LOVED it.  When it was time to leave she asked if she could stay and keep pretending to be in kindergarten.

We found out a couple weeks later that she got in!

So today we went and turned in all the paperwork to make it official!  We know she is going to love kindergarten but we will sure miss her at home!

Bloede-Singh Olympics

The Singhs invited us over to celebrate Valentines Day so we decided to turn it into a family Olympics too.  Jack planned the events and Emmerson and Claire made the medals.  It was so much fun!

We had 3 events:

Ice skating...both singles and doubles.

Even a trio

Claire took the gold!

Quick fondue break before the next events.  As you can tell Claire enjoyed the chocolate.

Bobsleding (by far the kids favorite and adults least favorite)

Our cheering section

The last event was speed skating.
