Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving weekend was a busy one for us.  We decided to take a girls trip to Evansville to visit the Selms and our Emmerson family.  Somehow I forgot the camera so we only got a few from pictures from our phones.

All 5 girls at the Selms.  We stayed at their house the first night.  These girls have known each other their whole lives.  It's so fun to see them all together.

Makenna has always had a soft spot for Claire.

Aubrey and Emmerson have so much fun together. They both love crafts.

On Wednesday we moved to a hotel and got to spend time with all of our cousins.

Baylee is the best!

Our girls love all the big girls.

Claire and Emma are so cute together.

The whole crew.  The girls loved playing with their cousins.

After dinner we went back to the pool.  Audrey got in on the action.

They were happy to be back in the pool.

We packed up after breakfast on Thanksgiving morning to head home and meet Daddy at Grandma and Grandpas.  We missed the Thanksgiving meal due to traveling but it was still worth it.

Emmerson and Claire talked the whole way home about how much fun they had and how we need to go on more girls adventures!

Living the kindergarten life..

Kindergarten is still going GREAT!  Emmerson LOVES school.  Here is some of the day to day stuff that comes along with her first few months of kindergarten.

Crazy sock day

Claire needed crazy socks too!

Once a month Emmerson has an early release day.  We always try to do something fun.  This month we went to the Childrens Museum.  It's a fun treat to be there when it isn't too busy.

Now that this one is walking and running I am totally out numbered!

Something about these red sweaters makes this sweet girl remind me of my Grandpa Emmerson.  Pretty sure he had the same one!

The little girls and I walk to pick up Emmerson everyday.  We have already had a couple snowy days!

They don't seem to mind the cold.

Emmerson is now a Daisy.  She is really enjoying it.

These two got to have a special breakfast date at Donuts for Dads.

Claire or Audrey?

What's your guess?

I will say her dad, Nana and godmother all got the answer wrong!

October FUN!

October is such a fun month with all the Halloween activities but there is still plenty of so called normal fun at home.

Everyday when Emmerson gets home from school these three sit and have a snack together.  It is so sweet to listen to Emmerson tell them all about her day.

Audrey gets in on the tea parties now!

This little girl adores her Daddy!

Non school days always start like this!  It's the best!

I was making dinner while Audrey had a snack and she dropped a goldfish down her shirt.  It was so funny to watch her try to figure out how to get it out!

Daddy always has a very full lap!

Audrey is a climber...

Sweet sweet Claire!

Does this look like a baby that wants to pick her sister up from school?!?

Our girls love books!

This is what Claire looks like in the monitor at the end of nap time.  She stands right in front of the camera to let me know she is ready to get up.

It is impossible to keep the fridge clean.  This one kisses herself every time she walks by.

Daddy is the best horse around.

Emmerson is learning to read.  She practices her books by reading to her sisters.

This happy baby had no idea she was about to nurse for the last time!

Where there is one...there are three!

Daddy had Columbus Day off so he was able to come with us to music class and then of course Claire talked us into the bagel shop!

Mom and Dad went to Austin for a friends wedding.  As you can see someone was hoping to fit in the suitcase.

Have you ever seen bed head like this?

We all love Bella but Claire and Bella are best buddies.  This time of year Bella likes the front door open to lay in the sun.  Claire brings toys to play with and just sits with her.  It's pretty sweet.

Audrey has found the big girls closet.

Halloween

This Halloween was a COLD night.  We even saw some snow!  That didn't stop these three from going out trick or treating...for a few minutes!

Our mermaid.  We had to bundle up a bit more than she had hoped.

Our bumblebee.  She was quick to tell everyone that she wasn't the kind of bee that would sting.  She wouldn't wear the tail because she didn't want anyone to be scared of her.

And our little giraffe.

We always start our Halloween with dinner at Jack and Carter's.  Which also includes a picture.  Each year this gets more challenging.

This is the best one...And it took 4 adults working very hard and editing 1 adult out of the picture due to him not being fast enough after dropping a kid in and running!

some of the outtakes:

The babies are just SO fast!

We went to a few houses with Jack.

Then went home and went to a few of the neighbors on our street.

Of course Emmerson's teacher was the best stop!

We were home and in the warm tub by 7:00!
