Big Cat Rescue

Our Zionsville crew planned a trip to the Big Cat Rescue.  It interesting to say the least.  You were able to be inches away from tigers, lions, and so much more!

Luke and is ladies!

We stopped at a state park afterwards and did some hiking.

This one did more riding than hiking but, enjoyed it just the same!

We were a little under prepared for what we ran into.  The moms in flip-flops, and some serious (rocky) hills put our survival skills to the test!  We all followed Kristy's direction well and lived to tell about it.

Audrey took a little tumble and left without her skirt!  She hiked out in her underwear without any problems!

It was a really fun experience, with even better company!

Grosse Pointe Park

We love our visits to Grosse Pointe.  We hadn't been back in a couple years so we were excited to get back there!  We spent time at the parks, walking around the neighborhood, and visiting our friends!

She played so hard!

Audrey blew a tire on one of the walks so her and her bike got a spot in the wagon!

This is proof of a perfect trip!

Good Bye Harleys

John, Darcy, Lucy, and Charlotte moved in next door to us three years ago.  As an active Marine family we knew they would only be next door for three years....what we didn't know is how fast that time would go.  The girls became fast friends as did the adults.  Living right next door it was easy to spend a lot of time together and for the moms to depend on each other for lots of favors! The last week was full of good byes and one last everything!

Our last big outing was a trip to Columbus for the children's museum.

And when the house was empty and ready for closing there was a serious game of hide and seek!

And then it was time to say good bye for now!

When they moved in Caroline wasn't born and Charlotte was 3 months old!

Good bye for now sweet friends!

July 4th

We haven't been in Indianapolis for 4th of July in many years.  It is always our weekend in Fort Wayne but with it falling in the middle of the week and Daddy having a new job we decided to stay home.  We spent the day swimming and playing with the Harleys before their big move.  Then Mr. John set off fireworks in front of our house.  It was a fun day!
