Our sweet Emmerson is 7! She seems so big lately. She loves school, riding her bike, being outside, crafts, her sisters, and her new ability to read anything and everything. She is the BEST big sister. She will literally do anything for Claire and Audrey. Life is so much easier around the house with her help!
Emmerson's birthday fell during her spring break so she celebrated at school a little early.
She was excited to take her birthday treat...and it was a dress down day!
There was plenty of prep that happened at home for Emmerson's birthday.
Claire made the cake completely on her own.
She also helped with all the wrapping.
Then we put a 6 year old to bed!
That woke up a 7 year old!
Her first request was a bagel for breakfast.
Then home for gifts.
Claire was sure she needed to get Emmerson little packs of tissues. The best part is we thought it was so funny and it was by far one of her favorite gifts!
Of course Audrey went with a beanie boo. (and has started posing for pictures like Claire does)
Claire also picked out some new books for her.
She was a happy girl!
We couldn't go to the beach this year but Emmerson still found some sun to relax in!
Pizza for dinner
and an earring cake!
She was impressed with Claire's baking.
Over all I think it was a great day for our great girl!
