Tailgating with Friends

Each year we pick a weekend to meet a few of our IU friends and their families.  It usually ends up being later in the season and is sometimes very cold.  This year the weather was perfect.

These girls could craft and color all day no matter where they are.  Our friends with boys were laughing that they were all choosing to sit and color as the boys were busy tackling each other.

A perfect day for tailgating!

They spent the day trying to climb this tree.

The 15 kids

The whole crew!

The class that I had for three years in a row (3rd, 4th and 5th grades) are seniors this year.  It is always fun to run into them now.  Michael, now a senior at IU,  and his family always tailgate and make a point to come see us.  The girls adore him and think it is funny that he was a little boy when I was his teacher.

This baby is the best!  She is laying in a tailgating chair in the middle of all the chaos and when I looked over this is the face I got!

Just some of the girls went into the game this time while the Dads stayed at the tailgate.

We love spending time with the Hurshs and no better place to do it.

The night ended like this.  Sleepy kids!  One face down in her popcorn!
