Daddy loves the state fair....Daddy plans the trip to the state fair every year...Mom just tags along and does what everyone else does. Well, this year Dad was traveling for work and the girls still wanted to go...so we did. I promised the girls a trip to the fair but in my mind I hoped for a quick lap around the fair to check the box and to not lose anyone during the quick lap. 6 hours later we came home...SIX hours!
All ready to take on the fair!
The girls love the baby animals.
We rode all the rides.
Rode the horses.
Then we did Little Hands on the Farm
Caroline was impressed!
We fed every single animal they could find!
Someone finally realized it was 1 million degrees and stopped for a snack.
When I was sure we had seen everything and it was time to go, they found the horse barn and heard there was a show...so we went.
Then they met a nice family and got to help take care of this sheep. They even got to name it, "Lady".
So we DID the fair and the girls loved it. I didn't lose anyone and did much more than a quick lap so I think that was a success.
