December FUN

December is such a busy month with all the holiday activities that often we are over scheduled and have tired (and sometimes sick) kids.  We try to sneak in as much down time as we can and try to stay as healthy as possible.

Nothing like laying on stairs covered in plastic...

Claire lost her front tooth!

My kitchen help is questionable...

These two are always together and always giggling!

It's hard to be sick and miss out on the fun!

Claire is loving the swim team.

Our elf came back for the month of December again this year. Luckily, he had mostly good reports for Santa.

Happy girls!

She loves all things baby doll right now

and taking off her clothes by herself anywhere and everywhere.

Ready for the advent concert at school

Still can not keep these two in separate beds.

St. Nick's celebration

Caroline loves getting in any big girl bed she can.  We walk in the room and she is just laying there smiling.

Bedtime snuggles.

Daddy was the lucky one to get the Emmerson family gift for the mantel this year.

The 3rd grade class at the Benjamin Harrison Home

Claire's first swim meet

She was so pleased with her ribbons

She loves Audrey's sweatshirt

If the contractors leave the zipper open to the room they are working in she watches all day and I get sent pictures like this! It surprises me every time to get a text from someone that is working at my house and then I see that it is a picture like this.

We are still living without the family room and bathroom downstairs

They are so happy to be reunited each day after school.  Notice the piles of toys and furniture in the background...

Audrey was so excited to get gifts from her teachers

We had begged our contractor to get our drywall done and the carpet back down in the family room before Christmas.  He literally finished up while we were celebrating Christmas Eve.  Caroline hadn't seen the toys in the cabinets for 5 months.  She couldn't believe it!  She sat and pulled each thing out one by one.
