April FUN

Between Easter, birthdays, spring break, and all the normal stuff April was a very busy month!  

still there is always more...

Claire is officially a reader.  She can read to her little sisters just like us! 

Emmerson's class was surprised on this April morning! 

But thankful for all the ISTEP goodies!

One night while I was cleaning up dinner I heard Claire yell, "Hey mom, I am just like you with 4 babies!" 

Another very sweet bond.  Most days Caroline goes right from her crib to the stroller to pick up the girls.  Audrey helps her wake up everyday!

Caroline Turns TWO

Our sweet Caroline is two!  She is such an incredible addition to our family.  She is funny and sweet like Claire (and can definitely pose like her), a little feisty like Audrey, and can sit and color or listen to a book for days like Emmerson.  Now that there isn't anything the big girls can do that she can't keep up with, it has been so fun to watch all the relationships grow more into friendships instead of just motherly.  

In true fourth child fashion we had to celebrate her birthday a day early due to Emmerson having a track meet in Bloomington the next day. 

So bagel shop it was! 

We turned her carseat around and she thought she was a big deal! 

The girls were so excited to give her their cards they made her. 

Then we headed to the park.  It was chilly so we had the place to ourselves. 

On the morning of her birthday we were able to squeeze in donuts and gifts before we left for the track meet. 

This picture sums up how they feel about her!  I am not sure they totally understand just how lucky they are to have each other yet, but they do love to be together and are so sweet to each other.

It's hard to be the baby...even on your birthday. 

It was a beautiful day so she had fun playing outside all day. 

Luckily she has a lot of friends at St. Thomas!

After the track meet we went to campus for dinner and ice cream! 

Its hard to believe this was two whole years ago that we were just meeting her!  She is so loved and so lucky to have these big sisters! 

STA Track

Emmerson joined the tracked team at school this year.  She loved it!  It was a huge time commitment and she was always happy to go!
