Busy weekends

Our weekends are so busy! They wear me out! I am down to one nap but as you can see I really need them!

We go out to breakfast a lot and there have been a few times that I have fallen asleep on the way home...mom and dad take total advantage of it! They sneak me out of the carseat and into the house and squeeze on me while I take a quick cat nap!

Nana and Pop Pop came to visit! I played outside all day with Pop Pop!

I helped Pop Pop move his truck.

I play with my toys and find very interesting ways to keep busy.

The IMA has a really cool park that we love to go to.

There are things to climb on.

And lots of cool places to walk around.

My First Day of School

My first day of school went much better this year...for everyone! I am really enjoying it! I get excited to go, run into my classroom, and talk about my friends at home...especially Jack! I sleep on a cot, play on a playground, do science experiments, paint, draw, ride bikes, play instruments, and eat a school lunch! I am turning into a BIG girl!

Bella is my very best friend! We are so lucky that she is so good to me! This is my new favorite thing to do with her!

Uncle Matt, Aunt Jodi, Charlie and Ads came to visit!

My family came to visit for 10 days this July! We had so much fun! Uncle Matt and Aunt Jodi SPOIL me rotten! I have even gotten to the point that I call all fancy jewelry "JO JOS" because Aunt Jodi let me wear all her bracelets, rings and necklaces while she as here! We did so many fun things! We saw a lot of family, went to Nana and Pop Pop's house, went to the zoo, and went swimming! Charlie is so sweet and plays so well with me! Ads and I just smile at each other!

My visit with Kennedy

We went to Lexington to visit Tom, Jenni and Kennedy. She is 5 weeks younger than me. It was so fun to play with all of her toys!

I sat in this chair the whole time we were there and loved this baby so much it came home with us! Thanks Kennedy!

Charlottesville, VA

We got to go on a two week vacation this summer. Dad had to go to Charlottesville for work so we went along. We had so much fun! We stayed at a great resort with lots of pools, restaurants, lakes, and trails to walk on. We had so much family time and did so many fun things that we hated to leave! But we were happy to get home to Bella!

We went swimming everyday! I was crazy in the pool! I love to go underwater!

There were animals everywhere. These ducks came to see us most nights. Some nights they would come right up to our feet.

We found lots of places to hang out at the resort.

We spent some time exploring UVA's campus. That is where dad's class was so he got to know it well. It was REALLY hot!
