Father's Day is always very exciting around our house. The planning starts weeks before the big day!
Every year the day starts with a big breakfast at home. Emmerson found a mustache from a party and decided to dress Caroline up for the party.
This poor baby!
The girls always pick out their own gifts for Daddy and this year they were SURE he needed a tennis racket so he "wasn't bored" when he played tennis with them.
Everyone has a comment for Daddy about how many daughters he has. Or the fact that he has no boys in the house. This picture says it all. He couldn't be happier with his girls and wishes for nothing different!
Claire wanted to take a selfie...once it failed she said, "We have too many people! Mommy can you get me a selfie stick?"
Next we surprised (and by surprise I mean did what we do every year) Daddy with a trip to Bloomington for the day. The girls know it is one of his favorite places and it doesn't hurt that they love to spend the day on campus either.
It was a very hot day but this sweet girl just went along for the ride.
We talked to Uncle Matt on the way down and told him we would send him some pictures. So we took the girls to see where he lived during his time at IU. The loved that it was right across the street from my house.
The rock was a HUGE hit!
Then we went to see where I lived too. They liked the swing at ZTA but couldn't get over why the house was so big!
We stopped at Dad's house too.
We always visit the Wells House when we are on campus.
We have taken a picture in this exact spot every year.
Who would have thought when Daddy proposed in this spot that this would be our family 11 years later.
We feel lucky that this little lady joined our family and was with us to celebrate Daddy this year!
