Claire's class had a special night just for her classmates and their dads. I am not sure Claire has ever been so excited about an event in her entire life! She talked about it for weeks and was sure she needed to shop for a perfect new outfit. We did go shopping and I can not put into words how this went! The quick version is it took FOREVER to pick the perfect , the fancier the better (even with many reminders that it was a race car theme). In the end we left with a cute dress and a happy girl!
She had a dentist appointment before this and she asked the hygienist, "could you please hurry I have a big date with my Daddy and have to get home to put my new dress on."
She wouldn't let Daddy see her dress before the big day. When she did show it to him she said, " Isn't this dress smoking hot?" You can't make this stuff up!

It was a race car theme so they brought home all kinds of fun car crafts.

It was a great night for these two!
When they got in the car Claire said, "Isn't Mrs. Conard so awesome? She plans the best stuff!"
